services (e.g. booking a newsletter), we only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server.
For the use of Google Analytics please see the separate information in section 9 below.
Every time you use the Internet, your Internet browser automatically transmits certain information, which we store in so-called log files. These data are stored by us for technical security reasons, e.g. to prevent attacks on our web server, whereby the data are made anonymous after seven days at the latest by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a reference to the individual website user. Log files will only be stored or retained beyond the aforementioned period if further storage or retention is required in the event of a security incident, e.g. in the event of an attempt to attack our website/server for evidence purposes, and the log files will be deleted after the relevant security incident has been clarified. Payment service provider PayPal
In order to offer you a large selection of different payment methods in our online shop, we use PayPal as an external payment service provider. You can choose between payment methods that require a PayPal user account and payment methods that do not require a PayPal account.
is a prerequisite. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) DSGVO (processing is required to fulfil a contract).
With the exception of the prepayment method, you will be forwarded directly to PayPal on an external website and enter your data directly at PayPal. We only send your name and address to PayPal so that PayPal can make the payment.
We would like to point out that PayPal is responsible for the data collected in the context of payment and apply PayPal's data protection regulations in addition. We do not receive any data from you from PayPal. If you choose the payment method purchase on account, we point out to you that PayPal carries out a credit check with your consent due to the associated risk of non-payment and you are thereby exposed to an automated decision, which has legal effect towards you.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) DSGVO (processing is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of a third party).
If you do not want PayPal to perform a credit check on you, you must select another payment method,
which is not associated with a risk of non-payment (e.g. prepayment).
Deletion of data
Even without a special request from our customers, we naturally fulfil our obligations to delete personal data (e.g. in accordance with Art. 17 DSGVO) and therefore only store data for as long as is necessary to provide the desired service or the respective purpose. For example, we only store the data in connection with the dispatch of our newsletter for as long as you have registered for the newsletter and we will delete the data as soon as the storage is no longer necessary, e.g.
after you have unsubscribed from the newsletter or revoked your consent.
Please note, however, that the deletion is replaced by a blockage or restriction of processing, insofar as deletion is prevented by statutory retention obligations which we must fulfil. For example, in accordance with the statutory provisions of § 257 HGB, we must keep invoices, order confirmations, order data and other contract-related communications with you (e.g. with regard to any warranty rights) sent to you for a period of up to ten years.
